Have a child likes have something worthy. She or He can't be compared with anything else in this world. No wonder, being a parents, we will do anything to protect, love, and prepare anything for their future. We will do anything for them.
Without our conscious, our love sometimes will kill them in the future, such as:
1. School conduct outdoor activity. Considering the weather is not good (rainy season), then we
decide not to let our children join this activity. On one side, it is true, we won't be able to see our children get cold because they join that activity but the other side, it is wrong, considering they will learn a lot how to socialize with others, how to solve their problem related with the weather. Those ideas are not changeable unless they had those experience. What we worry about how strong our children can survive as the same as implicitly we say that our children can't handle those difficulty.

2. In the past, we are not from the rich family therefore we grow as a fighter. Having something, mean a sacrifice but sometimes we don't have a heart to see our children had at the phase of us. Naturally, we will protect them. Solve and avoid the obstacle which happen in front of our children.
3. Listen to all their complain cause we can't stand when we heard others hurt our children is unwise decision. A kid is a kid. In a minute, they can be angry to their friends but in others minutes they will be a close friend.
Those cases are only some of many cases which happen in our life. When I write this article, It doesn't mean I am a perfect parents. I will keep learning from what I have seen, heard and dealt with my students.
It is normal that parents will fight for their children but we must remember that we won't live forever. We must not only provide all their need but also teach our children with a lot of skills how to survive and be a good muslim for their future. Those skills can be mastered by experiencing. Smart in academic is not the only one which will make them succeed in the future but there are some variables which will support them to be khalifah in this world.
